Made for Another World

A crow girl's scrapbook of shiny things. Body positivity, quotes, C. S. Lewis, introvert love, home inspiration, books, tea, coffee, and other random bits find a home here.

Both Tennessee and Alaska are home in my heart, but I haven't lived in either for years.

We’re all too familiar with this.

That is the single greatest moment of panic I’ve ever experienced.

I complain about this all the time. I notice it the most when I’m reading on my Kindle. Recently, I thought I was 2/3 through a book, but actually, the last third was just a series of book previews.

Somewhere in the Netherlands…

would love to live on water,
on the edge of a lake
or by the sea

One day I will!

Me too

Part of me would love this, and part of me would be flipping out about the water rising and ruining everything. It’s definitely beautiful and looks like an amazing reading spot.

Had Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper not done so well in the first series there wouldn’t be a 10th, 11th or 12th Doctor. Respect the first series and don’t skip it.

FUCKING THANK YOU

I don’t even watch this, but I just need to reblog because of what an excellent point he is making in the face of all the haters.

I love that he said this. I’m one of those odd people who prefers Christopher Eccleston. He was the Doctor who made me fall in love with the show after having only seen a few episodes with Tom Baker as a kid. It took me quite a while to warm up to David Tennant, and really, the only reason I stuck with the show into the second series was Billie Piper until I managed to get past the fact that Eccleston was no longer on the show. The Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler are still my OTP even though I also grew to love the Tenth Doctor and Rose.

I try not to reblog every single comic from emmisnotshortforemma, but she makes it really hard when she draws things like this.
